English Translation
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Barirah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave the Prophet (peace be upon him) some meat as a gift, which someone had given to her as charity. He (peace be upon him) accepted it and said: "For her it is charity, and for us it is a gift."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہبریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو کچھ گوشت ہدیہ دیا جو کہ اس کو کسی نے صدقہ میں دیا تھا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے لے لیا اور فرمایا کہ ان کے لئے صدقہ ہے اور ہمارے لئے ہدیہ ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 517]
