Narrated bythe Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah
English Translation
Narrated the Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When one of you becomes drowsy in the prayer, let him sleep until his drowsiness passes, for when one of you prays while drowsy, it may be that he intends to seek forgiveness but instead begins to curse himself." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 386]
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کسی کو نماز میں اونگھ آ جائے تو چاہئے کہ سو رہے یہاں تک کہ اس کی نیند جاتی رہے۔ اس لئے کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی اونگھنے لگتا ہے تو گمان ہے کہ وہ مغفرت مانگنے کا ارادہ کرے اور اپنی جان کو گالیاں دینے لگے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 386]
