English Translation
Narrated Abu Qatadah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) leading the people in prayer with Umamah bint Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with her), his granddaughter, on his shoulder (she was the daughter of his daughter Zaynab, may Allah be pleased with her). When he bowed, he would set her down, and when he stood up from prostration, he would place her on his shoulder again. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 346]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوقتادہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو لوگوں کی امامت کرتے ہوئے دیکھا اور امامہ بنت ابوالعاص رضی اللہ عنہ، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نواسی آپ کے کندھے پر تھیں (یہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی صاحبزادی سیدہ زینب رضی اللہ عنہا کی بیٹی تھیں)، جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمرکوع کرتے تو ان کو بٹھا دیتے اور جب سجدہ سے کھڑے ہوتے تو پھر ان کو کندھے پر بٹھا لیتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 346]
