English Translation
Narrated Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Amrah: Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the mosque after the Maghrib prayer and sat alone. I went and sat beside him. He said, "O my nephew, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Whoever prays the Isha prayer in congregation, it is as if he stood in voluntary prayer until midnight (i.e., he will get such reward), and whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation, it is as if he prayed the whole night.'" [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 324]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی عمرہ کہتے ہیں کہسیدنا عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ مغرب کے بعد مسجد میں آئے اور اکیلے بیٹھ گئے۔ میں ان کے پاس جا بیٹھا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اے میرے بھتیجے! میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا ہے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ جس نے عشاء کی نماز جماعت سے پڑھی تو گویا آدھی رات تک نفل پڑھتا رہا (یعنی ایسا ثواب پائے گا) اور جس نے صبح کی نماز جماعت سے پڑھی وہ گویا ساری رات نماز پڑھتا رہا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 324]
