English Translation
Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): (His mother) Umm al-Fadl heard him (Ibn Abbas) reciting 'Wal-mursalati urfa,' and she said, "O my son, by reciting this surah you have reminded me that it was the last surah I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), for he (peace be upon him) recited it in the Maghrib prayer."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ(ان کی والدہ) ام فضل نے انہیں (ابن عباس کو) والمرسلات عرفا پڑھتے سنا تو کہا کہ بیٹا تو نے یہ سورت پڑھ کر مجھے یاد دلا دیا کہ سب سے آخر میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے یہ سورت سنی تھی کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اسے مغرب کی نماز میں پڑھا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 288]
