English Translation
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A Jewish scholar came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Or, O Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him)! On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the heavens on one finger, the earths on one finger, the mountains and trees on one finger, the water and moist earth on one finger, and all creation on one finger; then He will shake them and say: I am the Sovereign, I am the Sovereign. Hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) laughed in amazement, and he (peace be upon him) confirmed the scholar's words. Then he recited this verse: "They have not esteemed Allah with the esteem due to Him, and on the Day of Resurrection the whole earth will be within His grip, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Glory be to Him, and exalted is He above what they associate with Him."

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہایک یہودی عالم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ اے محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! یا اے ابوالقاسم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن آسمانوں کو ایک انگلی پر اٹھا لے گا اور زمینوں کو ایک انگلی پر اور پہاڑوں اور درختوں کو ایک انگلی پر اور پانی اور نمناک زمین کو ایک انگلی پر اور تمام مخلوق کو ایک انگلی پر، پھر ان کو ہلائے گا اور کہے گا کہ میں بادشاہ ہوں، میں بادشاہ ہوں۔ یہ سن کر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتعجب سے ہنسے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس عالم کے کلام کی تصدیق کی، پھر یہ آیت پڑھی”انہوں نے اللہ کی قدر نہیں کی جیسے اس کی قدر کرنی چاہئے تھی اور قیامت کے دن اس کی ساری زمین اس کی ایک مٹھی میں ہو گی اور اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں آسمان لپٹے ہوں گے، وہ پاک ہے اور مشرکوں کے شرک سے بلند ہے“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2161]
