English Translation
Sayyiduna Mu'awiya ibn Qurra said: I heard Abdullah ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) say: In the year Mecca was conquered, the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited Surat al-Fath on his mount along the way, and he modulated his voice in his recitation. Sayyiduna Mu'awiya (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Were it not that I feared people would crowd around me, I would recite to you the recitation of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا معاویہ بن قرۃ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے کہ جس سال مکہ فتح ہوا، اس سال نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے راستے میں سورۃ الفتح اپنی سواری پر پڑھی اور اپنی قرآت میں آواز میں سر لگاتے تھے۔ سیدنا معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اگر مجھے اس بات کا خوف نہ ہوتا کہ لوگ مجھے گھیر لیں گے تو میں تمہیں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی قرآت سناتا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2113]
