English Translation
Abu Burda narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you could have seen me last night while I was listening to your recitation (you would have been greatly pleased). Indeed you have been given one of the melodious voices of the family of Dawud."
Urdu Translation
ابوبردہ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے کہا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اگر تم مجھے دیکھتے جب میں کل رات تمہاری قرآت سن رہا تھا (تو بہت خوش ہوتے)۔ بیشک تمہیں آل داؤد کی آوازوں میں سے ایک آواز دی گئی ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2112]
