English Translation
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "Allah has a hundred mercies. He sent down one mercy among the jinn, mankind, animals, and insects; because of this one mercy they are kind to one another and show mercy, and because of this mercy the wild animal is affectionate toward its young. And ninety-nine mercies Allah has kept in reserve, which He will show to His servants on the Day of Resurrection."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ کی سو رحمتیں ہیں، ایک رحمت جنوں، آدمیوں، جانوروں اور کیڑوں مکوڑوں میں اتاری ہے، اسی ایک رحمت کی وجہ سے وہ ایک دوسرے پر مہربانی کرتے ہیں اور رحم کرتے ہیں اور اسی رحمت کی وجہ سے وحشی جانور اپنے بچہ سے محبت کرتا ہے۔ اور ننانوے رحمتیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اٹھا رکھیں ہیں جو اپنے بندوں پر قیامت کے دن کرے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1924]
