English Translation
Narrated Abu Mahdhurah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught him the adhan in this manner: "Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar" (in the other narrations 'Allahu akbar' is four times). "Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah. Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah, ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah." Then he repeats: "Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah. Ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah, ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasul Allah. Hayya 'ala al-salah" (twice), "Hayya 'ala al-falah" (twice). Ishaq stated: after this he says "Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaha illa Allah."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابومحذورہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں اس طرح اذان سکھائی ہے: اللہ اکبر۔ اللہ اکبر۔ (باقی روایات میں اللہ اکبر چار مرتبہ ہے)۔ اشھد ان لا الٰہ الا اﷲ۔ اشھد ان لا الٰہ الا اﷲ۔ اشھد ان محمد رسول اﷲ۔ اشھد ان محمد رسول اﷲ۔ پھر دوبارہ کہے اشھد ان لا الٰہ الا اﷲ۔ اشھد ان لا الٰہ الا اﷲ۔ اشھد ان محمد رسول اﷲ۔ اشھد ان محمد رسول اﷲ۔ حی علی الصلٰوۃ۔ دو مرتبہ حی علی الفلاح۔ دو مرتبہ۔ اسحٰق کا بیان ہے کہ اس کے بعد اللہ اکبر اﷲاکبر۔ لا الٰہ الا اﷲ۔ کہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 191]
