English Translation
Narrated Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him): On the day of the Conquest of Mecca, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed several prayers with a single ablution and wiped over his leather socks. Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Today you did something you had never done before." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I did it deliberately."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فتح مکہ کے دن ایک وضو سے کئی نمازیں پڑھیں اور موزوں پر مسح کیا۔ سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے آج وہ کام کیا جو کبھی نہیں کیا تھا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں نے قصداً ایسا کیا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 142]
