English Translation
Narrated Abu Hazim: I was behind Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was performing ablution for prayer, and he extended washing his arm so far that he washed up to the armpit. I said: "O Abu Hurayrah, what kind of ablution is this?" He said: "O sons of Farrukh (Farrukh was the name of one of the sons of Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and among his descendants are the non-Arabs; Abu Hazim too was non-Arab), are you here? Had I known you were here, I would not have performed ablution in this way. I heard my friend (the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him) say: On the Day of Resurrection the believer will be adorned with ornaments as far as his ablution reaches."
Urdu Translation
ابوحازم سے روایت ہے کہمیں سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے تھا، وہ نماز کیلئے وضو کر رہے تھے اور اپنے ہاتھ کو اتنا لمبا کر کے دھوتے تھے، یہاں تک کہ بغل تک دھوتے تھے۔ میں نے کہا کہ اے ابوہریرہ (رضی اللہ عنہ) یہ کیسا وضو ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا”اے فروخ کی اولاد (فروخ ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے ایک بیٹے کا نام ہے، جس کی اولاد میں عجم کے لوگ ہیں اور ابوحازم بھی عجمی تھے) تم یہاں موجود ہو؟ اگر میں جانتا کہ تم یہاں موجود ہو تو میں اس طرح وضو نہ کرتا۔ میں نے اپنے دوست (رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) سے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ قیامت کے دن مومن کو وہاں تک زیور پہنایا جائے گا، جہاں تک اس کا وضو پہنچتا ہو گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 133]
