English Translation
Narrated Hafsah bint Sirin: Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me, "Of what ailment did Yahya bin Abi Amrah die?" I said, "He died of the plague." He said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The plague is martyrdom for every Muslim.'" [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1083]
Urdu Translation
سیدہ حفصہ بنت سیرین کہتی ہیں کہمجھ سے سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ یحییٰ بن ابی عمرہ کس عارضے میں فوت ہوئے؟ میں نے کہا کہ طاعون سے فوت ہوئے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: طاعون ہر مسلمان کے لئے شہادت ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1083]
