حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا قَالَ الْقَارِئُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ . فَقَالَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ آمِينَ . فَوَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
English Translation
Qutayba ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said Ya'qub, meaning Ibn Abd al-Rahman, narrated to us from Suhayl, from his father (Abu Salih), from Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'When the reciter (Imam) says "Ghayri al-maghdubi alayhim wa la al-dallin" (Not those upon whom is wrath, nor those who are astray), and the one behind him says Amin, and his utterance coincides with the utterance of the dwellers of the heavens (the angels), his previous sins shall be forgiven.'
Urdu Translation
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا ہم سے یعقوب یعنی ابن عبدالرحمٰن نے سہیل سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد (ابو صالح) سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "جب قاری 'غیر المغضوب علیہم ولا الضالین' کہے اور جو اس کے پیچھے ہے وہ (بھی) آمین کہے، اور اس کا کہنا آسمان والوں (فرشتوں) کے کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے، تو اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دیے جاتے ہیں۔"
