أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَقُولُ آمِينَ وَالْإِمَامَ يَقُولُ آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «When the imam says 'not of those who have incurred [Your] wrath, nor of those who have gone astray,' say Amin, for the angels say Amin and the imam says Amin, and whoever's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «جب امام غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّینَ کہے تو تم آمین کہو، کیونکہ فرشتے آمین کہتے ہیں اور امام آمین کہتا ہے، پس جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین سے مل جائے اس کے پچھلے گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔»
