Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ إِلَّا النَّبِيين وَالْمُرْسلِينَ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
English Translation
Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to 'Ali: "You are to me in the position that Harun (Aaron) was to Musa (Moses), except that there is no prophet after me." Agreed upon.
Urdu Translation
انس رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”ابوبکر اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اہل جنت کے اولین و آخرین کے عمر رسیدہ لوگوں کے سردار ہوں گے البتہ انبیا ؑ اور رسول اس سے مستثنیٰ ہوں گے۔“حسن، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6059]
