Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ كَذَّابِينَ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone acquires knowledge that should be sought for the sake of Allah, but acquires it only to gain some worldly advantage, he will not perceive the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection." Narrated by Abu Dawud.
Urdu Translation
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”قیامت سے پہلے (نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی طرف جھوٹی باتیں منسوب کرنے والے) کذاب ہوں گے، تم ان سے محتاط رہنا۔“رواہ مسلم۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الفتن/حدیث: 5438]
