وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سَتْرُ مَا بَيْنَ أَعْيُنِ الْجِنِّ وَعَوْرَاتِ بَنِي آدَمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُهُمُ الْخَلَاءَ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَإِسْنَاده لَيْسَ بِقَوي
English Translation
Hadrat ‘Ali reported God’s messenger as saying, "The covering between the eyes of the jinn and the private parts of the children of Adam (upon him be peace) when one of them enters the privy is provided by his saying, ‘In the name of God.’” Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying that this is a gharib tradition and that its isnad is not strong.
Urdu Translation
حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بنی آدم کے ستر اور جنوں کی نظروں کے درمیان پردہ یہ ہے کہ جب ان میں سے کوئی بیت الخلاء میں داخل ہو تو بِسْمِ اللہ کہے۔ (ترمذی) ترمذی نے فرمایا کہ یہ غریب حدیث ہے اور اس کی سند قوی نہیں۔
