Arabic (Original)
وَعَن الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ شِقْصًا مِنْ غُلَامٍ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «لَيْسَ لِلَّهِ شَرِيكٌ» فَأَجَازَ عتقه. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
Hadrat Abul Malih told on his father's authority that when a man emancipated a share in a slave, and the matter was mentioned to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) he said, “God has no partner,” and decided chat he should be emancipated. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
ابوالملیح اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے کسی غلام میں اپنا حصہ آزاد کیا۔ یہ بات نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے ذکر کی گئی تو آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے۔ اور اس کی آزادی نافذ فرما دی۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
