Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَرِثُ الْوَلَاءَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ إِسْنَادُهُ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ
English Translation
‘Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father’s authority, said that his grandfather reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, ‘‘He who has the right to inherit property inherits the property of an emancipated slave.” Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying that this is a tradition whose isnad is not strong.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ولاء (آزاد کرنے کا حق) وہ وارث ہوتا ہے جو مال کا وارث ہوتا ہے۔ (ترمذی)
