Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ: «أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ
English Translation
‘Abd ar-Rahman b. Abza told that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say in the morning, “We have reached the morning following the original religion of Islam, the assertion of God’s unity, the religion of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and the rite of our father Abraham (upon him be peace) who was a hanif and was not one of the polytheists." Ahmad and Darimi transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم صبح کے وقت فرمایا کرتے: ہم نے اسلام کی فطرت پر صبح کی اور کلمہ اخلاص پر اور اپنے نبی حضرت محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دین پر اور اپنے باپ حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی ملت پر جو حنیف تھے اور مشرکین میں سے نہ تھے۔ (احمد، دارمی)
