Arabic (Original)
1347 صحيح حديث عَائِشَة عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا عَائِشَةُ كِسَاءً وَإِزَارًا غَليظًا؛ فَقَالَتْ: قُبِضَ رُوحُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هذَيْنِ
English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Allah will say to the people of Paradise: 'O people of Paradise!' They will say: 'Here we are, our Lord, at Your service.' He will say: 'Are you satisfied?' They will say: 'How could we not be satisfied when You have given us what You have not given anyone else in Your creation?' He will say: 'I will give you something better than that.' They will say: 'O Lord, what could be better than that?' He will say: 'I bestow upon you My pleasure and I shall never be displeased with you after this.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو بردہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ہمیں ایک موٹی کملی«كِسَاءٌ»اور ایک موٹی«إِزَارٌ»نکال کر دکھائی اور کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی روح ان ہی دو کپڑوں میں قبض ہوئی تھی۔[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب اللباس والزينة/حدیث: 1347]
