عَنْعِيسَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِيجَرِيرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَأَبَا زُرْعَةَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍيُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" حَدٌّ يُعْمَلُ بِهِ فِي الأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لأَهْلِ الأَرْضِ مِنْ أَنْ يُمْطَرُوا ثَلاثِينَ صَبَاحًا".
English Translation
Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get what he intended. So whoever emigrated for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, his emigration was for Allah and His Messenger. And whoever emigrated for worldly gain or to marry a woman, his emigration was for whatever he emigrated for."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ارشاد فرمایا:”ایک حد جسے زمین پر بروئے کار لایا جاتا ہے، وہ اہل زمین کے لیے تیس صبحوں (دنوں) کی بارش سے بہتر ہے۔“[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 168]
