أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prohibited Shighar (a marriage in which two men exchange their daughters or sisters in marriage without any dowry).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے شغار (وہ نکاح جس میں دو آدمی اپنی بیٹیوں یا بہنوں کا بغیر مہر کے آپس میں تبادلہ کریں) سے منع فرمایا۔
