أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عُلَاثَةَ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ بَشِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ وَالْحَارِثَ بْنَ حَاطِبٍ «خَرَجَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَخَرَجَا مَعَهُ إِلَى بَدْرٍ فَرَجَعَهُمَا وَأَمَّرَ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَضَرَبَ لَهُمَا بِسَهْمَيْنِ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ»
English Translation
Urwah ibn al-Zubayr narrated that Hadrat Abu Lubabah, Bashir ibn Abd al-Mundhir, and Hadrat al-Harith ibn Hatib (may Allah be well pleased with them both) went out with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to the Battle of Badr, but he sent them back and appointed Hadrat Abu Lubabah as governor over Madinah, and he allotted them both their shares along with the companions of Badr.
Urdu Translation
عروہ بن زبیر سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابولبابہ بشیر بن عبدالمنذر اور حضرت حارث بن حاطب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ بدر کی طرف نکلے لیکن آپ نے انہیں واپس بھیج دیا اور حضرت ابولبابہ کو مدینہ کا والی مقرر فرمایا، اور ان دونوں کو اصحاب بدر کے ساتھ حصہ عطا فرمایا۔
