حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ثنا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُحَدِّثُنَا عَامَّةَ لَيْلِهِ عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا يَقُومُ إِلَّا لَعَظِيمِ صَلَاةٍ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح
English Translation
Hadrat 'Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would tell us stories about the Children of Israel for most of the night, and would not stand except for the major prayer. This hadith has a sound chain of transmission, and they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات کا بیشتر حصہ ہمیں بنی اسرائیل کے واقعات سناتے اور صرف بڑی نماز (فرض) کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے۔ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
