Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that a man came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: 'I have married a woman of the Ansar for eight awaq.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was alarmed by this and stated: 'It is as though you are quarrying silver from the side of this mountain! Have you seen her? For indeed, there is something in the eyes of the Ansar.' He said: 'I have already seen her.' He stated: 'We have nothing [to give you now], but we will send you on an expedition, and I hope you will gain some good.' So he sent him with a group of people to some of the Banu Abs. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave them a she-camel to carry their belongings, but before long it knelt down and refused to move. Since the man who had married was the youngest in the group, he went to the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who was lying on his back in the mosque. He stood by his head, not wanting to wake him. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) woke up, and he said: 'O Prophet of Allah, the camel you gave us has refused to move.' The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) extended his right hand to him, took his cloak with his left hand and placed it on his shoulder, and walked until he reached the camel. He struck it with the sole of his foot, and — by the One in Whose hand is Abu Hurayra's soul — after that it used to outpace the leader of the caravan. They camped near the enemy, who had lit fires. The Muslims surrounded them, launched an attack, raised a single takbir in unison, and Allah defeated them and they took captives. This hadith is authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, though they did not record it with this full narration. Muslim only recorded from Shu'ba's hadith that a man married and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Have you looked at her?'

حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: میں نے ایک انصاری عورت سے آٹھ اوقیے پر نکاح کیا ہے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس سے گھبرائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: گویا تم اس پہاڑ کے دامن سے چاندی کاٹ رہے ہو! کیا تم نے اسے دیکھا ہے؟ کیونکہ انصار کی آنکھوں میں کچھ بات ہوتی ہے۔ اس نے کہا: میں نے دیکھا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ہمارے پاس ابھی کچھ نہیں لیکن ہم تمہیں ایک مہم پر بھیجیں گے اور مجھے امید ہے تمہیں فائدہ ہوگا۔ پھر آپ نے اسے کچھ لوگوں کے ساتھ بنو عبس کی طرف بھیجا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں ایک اونٹنی دی جس پر انہوں نے سامان لاد لیا۔ تھوڑی ہی دور جا کر وہ بیٹھ گئی اور اٹھنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ چونکہ شادی کرنے والا سب سے چھوٹا تھا، وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا۔ آپ مسجد میں لیٹے ہوئے تھے۔ وہ آپ کے سر کے پاس کھڑا ہو گیا کیونکہ جگانا نہیں چاہتا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بیدار ہوئے تو اس نے عرض کیا: یا نبی اللہ! جو اونٹنی آپ نے دی تھی وہ رک گئی ہے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنا دایاں ہاتھ اسے دیا، بائیں ہاتھ سے چادر لے کر کندھے پر رکھی اور چل کر اونٹنی کے پاس آئے۔ آپ نے اپنے قدم مبارک کے تلوے سے اسے مارا — قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں ابو ہریرہ کی جان ہے — اس کے بعد وہ قافلے کے آگے آگے چلنے والے سے بھی آگے نکل جاتی تھی۔ وہ دشمن کے قریب اترے، دشمنوں نے آگ جلا رکھی تھی۔ مسلمانوں نے ان کا گھیراؤ کیا، ایک آدمی کی طرح سب نے تکبیر کہی، اللہ نے ان کو شکست دی اور مسلمانوں نے قیدی پکڑے۔ یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے لیکن انہوں نے اسے اس پوری سیاق کے ساتھ نقل نہیں کیا۔ مسلم نے صرف شعبہ کی حدیث سے اتنا نقل کیا کہ ایک شخص نے نکاح کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے اسے دیکھا ہے؟
