حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ صَالِحٍ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي نُعَيْمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا كَبْشَةَ صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ وَأَهْلُهَا مُعَانُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهَا كَالْبَاسِطِ يَدَهُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةِ وَفِيهَا لَهُ شَاهِدٌ صحيح
English Translation
Narrated from Hadrat Abu Kabsha (may Allah be well pleased with him), a Companion of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who stated: 'Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses, and their owners are aided in caring for them, and the one who spends on them is like one extending his hand in charity.' This hadith has a sound chain and they did not record it with this addition, and it has a supporting narration.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوکبشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ — جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے صحابی ہیں — سے مروی ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'گھوڑوں کی پیشانیوں میں خیر باندھی گئی ہے، اور ان کے مالکوں کی ان کی دیکھ بھال میں مدد کی جاتی ہے، اور ان پر خرچ کرنے والا ایسا ہے جیسے ہاتھ پھیلا کر صدقہ دینے والا۔' یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں نے اسے اس اضافے کے ساتھ نقل نہیں کیا اور اس کی تائید ایک شاہد سے ہوتی ہے۔
