أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ بِنْتِ صُلَيْعٍ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ ، ذَكَرَ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّالصَّدَقَةَ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَإِنَّهَا عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ، صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ "
English Translation
Hadrat Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Charity given to a poor person is charity, and charity given to a relative is two things: charity and maintaining kinship ties."
Urdu Translation
حضرت سلمان بن عامر ضبّی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "مسکین کو صدقہ دینا صرف صدقہ ہے، اور رشتے دار کو صدقہ دینا دو چیزیں ہیں: صدقہ بھی اور صلہ رحمی بھی۔"
