Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -خَرَجَ عَامَ اَلْفَتْحِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فِي رَمَضَانَ, فَصَامَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ كُرَاعَ الْغَمِيمِ, فَصَامَ اَلنَّاسُ, ثُمَّ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَرَفَعَهُ, حَتَّى نَظَرَ اَلنَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ, ثُمَّ شَرِبَ, فَقِيلَ لَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ: إِنَّ بَعْضَ اَلنَّاسِ قَدْ صَامَ. قَالَ: "أُولَئِكَ اَلْعُصَاةُ, أُولَئِكَ اَلْعُصَاةُ" } 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم ( 1114 ) ( 90 ).
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir (RAA) narrated, ‘The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) left for Makkah during the year of the conquest (of Makkah) in Ramadan and he and the people with him fasted until he reached the valley of Kura Al-Ghamim. He then called for a cup of water, which he elevated so that the people could see it, and then he drank. After-wards, he was told that some people had continued to fast, and he then said, "Those are the disobedient ones! Those are the disobedient ones!”
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے سال رمضان میں مکہ کی طرف نکلے، آپ نے روزہ رکھا یہاں تک کہ کُراع الغَمیم مقام پر پہنچے، آپ کے ساتھ لوگوں نے بھی روزہ رکھا، پھر آپ نے پانی کا پیالہ منگوایا اور اسے اٹھایا تاکہ لوگ دیکھ لیں، پھر آپ نے افطار فرمایا۔ (مسلم)
