English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that Sadaqat al-Fitr—one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley—was made obligatory by the Prophet (peace be upon him) upon every Muslim: male and female, free and slave.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہصدقہ فطر، ایک صاع کھجوریں یا ایک صاع جو، نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہر مسلمان مرد، عورت اور آزاد اور غلام سب پر فرض کر دیا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 768]
