English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "For crops irrigated by rain, springs, or natural moisture, the Zakah is one-tenth. For crops irrigated by wells (with labor), the Zakah is one-twentieth."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جس چیز کو آسمان کا پانی یعنی بارش سینچے اور چشمے سینچیں یا خودبخود پیدا ہو اس میں عشر (دسواں حصہ) واجب ہوتا ہے اور جو چیز کنویں کے پانی سے سینچی جائے اس میں نصف عشر (بیسواں حصہ) ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 755]
