Narrated bythe Mother of the Believers, Aishah
English Translation
Narrated the Mother of the Believers, Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The hand of the thief is to be cut off for (stealing) a quarter of a dinar or more."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”دینار کی چوتھائی یا اس سے زیادہ (کے چرانے) میں چور کا ہاتھ کاٹا جائے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2163]
