English Translation
It is narrated from Abu Usayd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he invited the Prophet (peace be upon him) to his wedding feast, and (at that time) his very wife, who was the bride, served all the people. He said: Do you know what she (prepared and) gave the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to drink? She had soaked some dates in a bowl overnight (and gave him that drink).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابواسید الساعدی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اپنی شادی کی دعوت میں بلایا (اور اس وقت) ان کی وہی عورت جو دلہن تھی تمام لوگوں کی خدمت کرتی رہی۔ انھوں نے کہا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ اس دلہن نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو کیا (بنا کر) پلایا تھا؟ اس نے رات کو چند کھجوریں پیالے میں بھگو دی تھیں (انہی کا شربت پلایا تھا)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1935]
