English Translation
It is narrated from Abu Amir al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "There will arise among my Ummah certain peoples who will regard fornication, the wearing of silk, the drinking of wine, and musical instruments as lawful. And there will be certain peoples who will dwell beside a mountain, and when their shepherd brings their flock to them in the evening, a poor person will come to them and ask them for his need. They will say, 'Come tomorrow (not today).' Then during the night Allah will destroy them and cause the mountain to fall upon them, and He will transform the rest into apes and swine (they will remain in this divine punishment) until the Day of Resurrection."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوعامر اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”میری امت میں چند قومیں (ایسی پیدا) ہوں گی جو زنا کو اور ریشم پہننے کو اور شراب پینے کو اور باجوں کو حلال سمجھیں گی اور چند قومیں ایسی ہوں گی جو پہاڑ کے پہلو میں رہتی ہوں گی اور شام کو (جب) ان کا چرواہا ان کا ریوڑ ان کے پاس لائے گا تو ایک فقیر ان کے پاس آ کر اپنی ضرورت کا سوال کرے گا۔ وہ جواب دیں گے کہ (آج نہیں) کل آنا تو رات کو ہی اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو ہلاک کر کے ان پر پہاڑ گرا دے گا اور باقیوں کو (مسخ کر کے) بندر اور سور بنا دے گا۔ قیامت تک (وہ اسی عذاب الٰہی میں مبتلا رہیں گے)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1934]
