English Translation
Usama ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise and looked, and I saw that most of those in it were poor people, and the wealthy were held back at the gate of Paradise (for their reckoning), except that the people of Hell were ordered to be sent to Hell. Then I stood at the gate of Hell and looked, and I saw that most of those in it were women."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میں نے جنت کے دروازے پر کھڑا ہو کر دیکھا تو اس میں مسکین زیادہ تھے اور مالدار لوگ جنت کی دروازے پر (حساب و کتاب کے لیے) روک دیے گئے سوائے اس کے کہ دوزخیوں کو دوزخ بھیجنے کا حکم دے دیا گیا۔ پھر میں نے دوزخ کے دروازے پر کھڑے ہو کر دیکھا تو اس میں عموماً عورتیں تھیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1861]
