English Translation
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), that she heard the voice of a man who was asking permission to enter the house of the Mother of the Believers, Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her). Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed this (strange) man wishes to enter your house.'" So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I know that this is so-and-so, who is Hafsa's foster-uncle." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "If so-and-so were alive, who was my uncle through the bond of suckling, would I appear before him?" So he (peace be upon him) said, "Yes! Whatever relationships are forbidden through lineage are also forbidden through suckling."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے ایک آدمی کی آواز سنی جو ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے مکان میں جانے کی اجازت مانگ رہا تھا۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے کہا:”یا رسول اللہ بیشک یہ (غیر) مرد آپ کے مکان میں جانا چاہتا ہے تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میں جانتا ہوں کہ یہ فلاں شخص ہے جو حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کا رضاعی چچا ہے“عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے پوچھا کہ اگر فلاں شخص زندہ ہوتا جو کہ دودھ کے رشتہ سے میرا چچا تھا تو کیا میں اس کے سامنے نکلتی؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہاں! جو رشتے نسب سے حرام ہیں (وہ) دودھ پینے سے بھی حرام ہیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1839]
