English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said that someone said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Why do you not marry the daughter of (the Chief of Martyrs) Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him)?" So he (peace be upon him) said, "She is my niece through the bond of suckling."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہکسی نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(سید الشہداء سیدنا) حمزہ (رضی اللہ عنہ) کی بیٹی سے شادی کیوں نہیں کر لیتے؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”وہ دودھ کے رشتے سے میری بھتیجی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1838]
