English Translation
Narrated Aisha as-Siddiqah, the Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): After this verse was revealed, "You have the choice to defer whom you will of them (your wives) (and for as long as you wish) and to keep with you whom you will; and if you call back any of them whom you had set aside, then there is no blame upon you" (al-Ahzab: 51), whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wished to go to another wife during the turn of one of his wives, he (peace be upon him) would seek permission from the one whose turn it was (to go to the other). So I used to say, "O Messenger of Allah! If you ask me, then, out of my love for you, I do not like your going to anyone else."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہاس آیت”آپ کو یہ اختیار ہے کہ آپ اپنی ان (بیویوں) میں سے جسے چاہیں (اور جب تک چاہیں) دور رکھیں اور جسے چاہیں اپنے پاس رکھیں اور اگر آپ ان میں سے بھی کسی کو اپنے پاس بلا لیں جنہیں آپ نے الگ کر رکھا تھا تو پھر بھی آپ پر کوئی گناہ نہیں“(الاحزاب: 51) کے اترنے کے بعد رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو جب اپنی ایک بیوی کی باری میں دوسری کے پاس جانا منظور ہوتا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجس کی باری ہوتی اس سے (دوسری کے پاس جانے کی) اجازت لیا کرتے۔ پس میں کہا کرتی تھی کہ یا رسول اللہ اگر آپ مجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں تو میں بوجہ آپ کی محبت کے آپ کا کسی کے پاس جانا پسند نہیں کرتی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1762]
