English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "I am the closest of all people to 'Isa ibn Maryam. The Prophets are like paternal brothers — their fathers are one (i.e., their faith is one) but their mothers are different (i.e., their laws vary). There is no Prophet between me and 'Isa."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”میں سب لوگوں سے زیادہ عیسیٰ ابن مریم علیہ السلام سے تعلق رکھتا ہوں، سب پیغمبر گویا علاتی بھائی ہیں (باپ ایک یعنی عقائد مائیں جدا جدا یعنی فروعات مسائل) میرے اور عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کے درمیان کوئی پیغمبر نہیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1436]
