حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهَا، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ، فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ، تُلْقِي الْمَرْأَةُ خُرْصَهَا وَسِخَابَهَا.
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed two Rak'ahs on the day of Eid al-Fitr; he did not pray before them or after them. Then he went to the women, accompanied by Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him), and ordered them to give charity. The women began tossing (their jewelry) — a woman would throw her earring and another her necklace.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عیدالفطر کے دن دو رکعت پڑھیں، نہ اس سے پہلے نماز پڑھی نہ بعد میں۔ پھر عورتوں کے پاس تشریف لے گئے اور ساتھ میں حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ تھے۔ آپ نے انہیں صدقہ دینے کا حکم دیا۔ عورتیں ڈالنے لگیں — کوئی اپنی بالی ڈالتی اور کوئی اپنا ہار۔
