Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ رَأَى حُذَيْفَةُ رَجُلاً لاَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ، وَلَوْ مُتَّ مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْفِطْرَةِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم.
English Translation
Hadrat Zaid bin Wahb (upon him be mercy) narrates that Hadrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be well pleased with him) saw a man who was not completing the bowing and prostration properly. He said: 'You have not prayed. If you were to die in this state, you would die upon a way other than the natural disposition (Fitrah) upon which Allah created Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت زید بن وہب رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جو رکوع اور سجدے پوری طرح ادا نہیں کر رہا تھا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: تم نے نماز نہیں پڑھی، اگر تم اسی حال میں مر گئے تو اس فطرت پر نہیں مرو گے جس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو پیدا فرمایا۔
