Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ صَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ " مَنْ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ مَكَانَهَا أُخْرَى، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَذْبَحْ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ ".
English Translation
Hafs bin Umar narrated to us, he said Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Aswad bin Qays, from Hadrat Jundub (bin Abdullah) (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said he was present with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the Day of Sacrifice. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) offered the prayer, then delivered a sermon and declared: "Whoever slaughtered before the prayer, let him slaughter another in its place. And whoever has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسود بن قیس نے اور ان سے حضرت جندب (بن عبداللہ) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے قربانی کے دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ حاضر تھے۔ آپ نے نماز پڑھائی پھر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا اور فرمایا: "جس نے نماز سے پہلے ذبح کیا وہ اس کی جگہ دوسرا ذبح کرے، اور جس نے ابھی تک ذبح نہیں کیا وہ اللہ کا نام لے کر ذبح کرے۔"
