Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا فَمَا بَقِيَ فَلأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ ".
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Give the prescribed shares (of inheritance) to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، ہم سے وہیب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابن طاوس سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کیا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "فرائض (میراث کے حصے) ان کے اہل کو دو، پھر جو بچے وہ سب سے قریبی مرد رشتہ دار کا ہے۔"
