حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا، فَمَا بَقِي، فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them. Whatever remains is for the nearest male relative."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "فرائض ان کے اہل کو دو، پھر جو باقی بچے وہ قریب ترین مرد رشتہ دار کا ہے۔"
