Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِ ـ {الْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفًا} ثُمَّ مَا صَلَّى لَنَا بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith (may Allah be well pleased with her) that I heard the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) reciting Surat al-Mursalat (Chapter 77) in the Maghrib prayer, and after that prayer, he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not lead us in any prayer until he departed this world.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ الفضل بنت حارث رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ مَیں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو مغرب کی نماز میں سورۃ المرسلات پڑھتے ہوئے سنا۔ اس کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہمیں کوئی نماز نہیں پڑھائی یہاں تک کہ آپ کا وصال ہو گیا۔
