Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، رضى الله عنهم أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَصَابُوا حُمُرًا فَطَبَخُوهَا، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ.
English Translation
Hadrat Bara' and Hadrat Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be well pleased with them all) narrate that they were with the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when they obtained some donkeys and cooked them. Then the announcer of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called out: Overturn the pots!
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء اور حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے تو انہیں گدھے ملے، انہوں نے انہیں پکایا۔ تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے منادی نے آواز دی: ہانڈیاں الٹ دو!
