Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ. فَقَالَ " هُوَ اخْتِلاَسٌ يَخْتَلِسُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاَةِ أَحَدِكُمْ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat ' A'isha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her) that she said: I asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about turning one's gaze here and there during prayer. He declared: It is a snatching — that which Satan snatches from the prayer of any one of you.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے نماز میں ادھر ادھر دیکھنے کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ اچک ہے جو شیطان تم میں سے کسی ایک کی نماز سے اچک لیتا ہے۔
