حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَزُورُهُ، وَهْوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ قَامَتْ تَنْقَلِبُ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ باب الْمَسْجِدِ عِنْدَ باب أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ بِهِمَا رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، فَسَلَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثُمَّ نَفَذَا فَقَالَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عَلَى رِسْلِكُمَا ". قَالاَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. وَكَبُرَ عَلَيْهِمَا ذَلِكَ. فَقَالَ " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَبْلُغُ مِنَ الإِنْسَانِ مَبْلَغَ الدَّمِ، وَإِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَقْذِفَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمَا شَيْئًا ".
English Translation
Sa'id ibn 'Ufayr narrated to us, he said: al-Layth narrated to me, he said: Hadrat 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Khalid narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Hadrat 'Ali ibn Husayn, that Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Safiyyah (may Allah be well pleased with her), the wife of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), informed him that she came to visit the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) while he was in seclusion (i'tikaf) in the mosque during the last ten days of Ramadan. Then she stood up to return, and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood with her until, when they reached near the door of the mosque by the door of Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be well pleased with her), two men from the Ansar passed by and greeted the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), then walked on. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to them: 'Wait! (This is my wife Hadrat Safiyyah.)' They submitted: 'Glory be to Allah, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)!' — and this weighed heavily upon them. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Indeed, Satan flows through the human being as blood flows, and I feared that he might cast something evil into your hearts.'
Urdu Translation
ہم سے سعید بن عفیر نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے لیث نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے عبدالرحمٰن بن خالد نے بیان کیا، ابن شہاب سے، انہوں نے علی بن حسین سے کہ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین صفیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا، زوجۂ نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں خبر دی کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زیارت کے لیے حاضر ہوئیں، آپ رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں مسجد میں اعتکاف فرما رہے تھے۔ پھر وہ واپس جانے کے لیے اٹھیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی ان کے ساتھ اٹھے یہاں تک کہ جب مسجد کے دروازے کے قریب، حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے دروازے کے پاس پہنچے تو دو انصاری وہاں سے گزرے اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو سلام کیا، پھر وہ آگے چلے گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سے ارشاد فرمایا: ٹھہرو! (یہ میری بیوی صفیہ ہیں)۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا: سبحان اللہ! یا رسول اللہ! اور انہیں یہ بات بہت بھاری لگی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: شیطان انسان کے اندر خون کی طرح دوڑتا ہے، اور مجھے خشیہ ہوئی کہ وہ تمہارے دلوں میں کوئی (بری) بات ڈال دے۔
