حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَتْ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَعَ أَبِي وَعَلَىَّ قَمِيصٌ أَصْفَرُ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَنَهْ سَنَهْ ". قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَهْىَ بِالْحَبَشِيَّةِ حَسَنَةٌ. قَالَتْ فَذَهَبْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِخَاتَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ، فَزَبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " دَعْهَا ". ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِفِي، ثُمَّ أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِفِي، ثُمَّ أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِفِي ". قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَبَقِيَتْ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Umm Khalid bint Khalid bin Sa'id (may Allah be well pleased with her) who states: I came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with my father, and I was wearing a yellow shirt. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Sanah, Sanah." Hadrat Abdullah says: This means "beautiful" in Abyssinian. She states: I started playing with the Seal of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)hood, and my father scolded me. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "Leave her." Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Wear it out and replace it, then wear it out and replace it, then wear it out and replace it." Hadrat Abdullah says: It (the shirt) lasted for a very long time, as he mentioned.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ خالد بنت خالد بن سعید (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا) سے روایت ہے، فرماتی ہیں: میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور مجھ پر زرد قمیص تھی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "سَنَہ سَنَہ۔" عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں: یہ حبشی زبان میں "اچھی" کے معنی میں ہے۔ فرماتی ہیں: میں مُہرِ نبوت سے کھیلنے لگی تو میرے والد نے ڈانٹا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اسے چھوڑ دو۔" پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "پہنو اور پرانی کرو، پھر پہنو اور پرانی کرو، پھر پہنو اور پرانی کرو۔" عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں: وہ (قمیص) بڑی دیر تک رہی، جیسا کہ انہوں نے ذکر کیا۔
